How to Respond to Opposition -Weekend in the Word 2020

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Yes, we are now in our thirteenth year of Weekend in the Word (2007-2020)!  Hundreds of believers, young and old, have come “through the doors” of Weekend in the Word (WiW) these past thirteen years. God has blessed this activity through the hearing of His word, through the direction and application given to the students, and certainly through the myriad of relationships that have either begun or been encouraged and strengthened through these weekends. (We’d love to hear from you if Weekend in the Word has been a blessing to you.)

Weekend in the Word continues to be a vital ministry of the local body as the church opens up its homes to those that travel from afar, as well as an encouragement to those who attend. It is a nice balance of a significant time in the Word, plus a great time of fellowship for attendees.

Rick Clendining (B.C.), our speaker from previous events, joins us once again. He’ll take up the theme of “being a capable workman”, a study of Nehemiah 1-6.  A much needed, practical teaching in these days.

It would be great if you could attend!
